This month I am recommending three books having to do with one family, the Lindbergh’s.
Quite some time ago, someone gave me the book, Gift From the Sea. It is a book I still have on my shelf and from time to time will reread it. I admired the author, Ann Morrow Lindbergh, but did not know much about her.
Recently, I read The Aviator’s Wife by Melanie Benjamin. It is a fiction story, told from Ann Morrow Lindbergh’s point of view about her life as Charles Lindbergh’s wife. It piqued my interest about the Lindbergh family and I read two more books, Under A Wing and Forward From Here, two memoirs written by their youngest daughter, Reeve. It was intriguing for me to learn so much about the private life of this family as told from the perspective of the youngest daughter.
