April Picks

I stumbled upon The Naked Gospel a few years ago while browsing through the religious section of the library. I was intrigued with the title, but even more so, inspired by the concepts, ideas and principles Andrew Farley communicates. We’ve complicated the gospel and as a result, muddied the waters. Farely cleared up my thinking.

My husband started reading The Perfect You, also by Andrew Farely. I thought the title was somewhat boastful. How can I be perfect? But Farely sheds light onto the false ideas we have about ourselves. It is hard to read this book without smiling.

Finally, Twisted Scripture, also by Farely, reveals how scripture can be used against us instead of for us.
